Bump

Chemo 12 today for Leo.  This is the tough one - it's the Doxyrubicin, and it's the one that's the hardest on Leo's system.  On top of this, his allergies have been brutal the last few days - he has, in fact, been scratching himself raw.
He's not really been himself - apparently, he was a little growly at L on Tuesday and yesterday, so that's not a good sign. When he gets growly, that usually means he's not feeling well.  Of course, the not-feeling-well can simply be allergies.
Now, the bump.  Well, after speaking with Dr. Cohen, his oncologist, it seems that he has a harder-than-they-would-like-to-see popliteal lymph node. It's not terribly enlarged, or something that can't be explained by allergies, but still.  It's a set back.  It's a possibility - and not a good one.  He's not yet done with the protocol, so we would have hoped to not have this happen - at all, ideally, but so soon, realistically.
He's now at my house, recovering.  He doesn't feel well - this treatment takes it out of him immediately, and for a few days.  He'll probably need his anti-nausea meds at some point, and we expect his appetite to decrease over the next few days.  I hope that he recovers quickly.
I've also given him a bath to help with the itchiness. All I had to say was "do you want a bath?" and he he walked into the bathroom, jumped into the tub, and laid down, waiting for me.  Good boy.
And now, he wants to go to the park (doesn't he always?).  He'll probably roll around in something stinky.  Because he's a dog.
