Leo's been having a bit of trouble with his throaty-thing, so it was back in to see the doctors. This wasn't a "let's do something!" visit, but rather a "let's figure out if we should do something" visit. And again, after a lot of time and patience and poking and prodding, we've come to the conclusion that there's nothing obviously wrong. Which is good!
So now, it's watch, wait, treat for allergies and ears and see what happens. We joked that Leo needs a puppy ENT. The problem he's having is obviously related to his ears, throat, and the tubes and systems that connect all that. How severe it is, how much it hurts, how uncomfortable he is (and what it may progress to) are all up in the air. But we're doing something, even if it's just benadryl and ear cleanings.
On a better note, he seems very very happy. He's been in a very good mood lately - he's recovered from the stress or shock or loss of Luna, and he's very happy being the only one getting all the attention. It doesn't hurt that L and I shower him with attention, but he's been very good, very attentive (to us) and just seems... happy!
