I am, after this weekend. (Good times, though! Upstate with my friends, which was super fun).
For our hero, this round of chemo might be a little too much.
L was walking him in her neighborhood and ran in to a friend. The friend asked "why does Leo look so dazed?"
He's showing some signs that it's affecting him. He's happy, don't get me wrong - we aren't doing pushing him beyond a reasonable limit, at least I don't think. However, he's a bit slow - slower than usual. The dog walker noted he was "slow but happy".
The more troubling thing is his back legs. He seems... unstable. Now, we did have a spill a few days ago during a walk. I managed to walk right up on him, and he was underfoot, and we took a tumble.
But to the more pressing issue, we really have to be careful to be fair about this - give him the best quality and quantity, but focus on quality.
We will see what they say at the next visit.
