So he's doing ok. The energy level was low, but he's being really good and seems really happy. It's nice, because I'm at home a lot at the moment (I may not be, going forward) and we can just hang out while I'm writing/working/making graphs/doing stats/reading or whatever it is that I do all day (this).
Of course, it was hard to really judge how well he's doing - it was absolutely miserable outside. Raining, then cold, which leads to icy. We both took spills on Sunday morning, but apparently we weren't the only ones - bridges were closed, highways had pile ups and they closed the Palisades or the Merritt or something (I was making breakfast when the news was talking about that, so I didn't catch all of it). It was crazy icy, but I am still a bit worried about the lack of balance
The next day, however, he had plenty of energy, wanted to be out, bouncing around the park, all that. So, if it is taking it out of him, he's getting it back pretty quickly. Which seems good. Heck, people don't know he's on chemo, so that's good.
So far, his lymph nodes have stayed tamped down. He's gone one problematic one on his side that is roughly 2.5 x 3cm and that's it. We're trying to knock that one down, so we'll see how that goes. Dr. Cohen was clear - there's probably not going to be a full remission, but more maintenance. Which then puts the ball in our court - how much? How much can we take, and more importantly, how much can HE take?
