He was a little slow and a little tired, but otherwise ok. By Sunday, he was great. He was doing so well we moved his appointment on the 20th to the 24th, just to give him a bit of a break. The nodes were small, and he was getting better.
Things did not go as planned.
The day after treatment (Thursday) he wasn't eating, he was lethargic, and he was sick. Not good. Today (Friday) he had to go in for fluids and anti-nausea meds. He's not doing well. In fact, we aren't sure he's going to make it. And this pretty much takes vincristine off the board, too. We're out of chemo options. And there's a real conundrum here - if he gets really sick now (from the last chemo), do we do the hospitalization route, only to be back there for the great getting up day in a week or 2 when the lymphoma takes over? Or...
It has not been a good day. Not at all.
