The Old Car

My old car has finally gotten to That Point. I know, it's not a living thing (and after 130,000 hard miles, many of them in NYC and NYC traffic), but it was the car that Leo knew, loved, and spent a lot of time in.

So, I'll just put some pictures here of Leo in the car, because he LOVED going for car rides. Unfortunately, like things do, the car was at its end. The catalytic converter had failed as a result of engine misfires from shorting ignition coils that were the result of some even more insidious and downstream electrical fault. And so, it goes. Sadly. Time to make some new memories in the new car (a nice silver Jetta... Low miles, never driven on the highway....)
